I grew up in two worlds- One a dream world, built from the utopian future of The Jetsons, the inventiveness of Inspector Gadget, the curiosity and wonder of Milo from The Phantom Tollbooth, and the creativity and exploration of The Twenty-One Balloons; a world that opened my appetite for imagination, technology, different cultures, problem-solving, learning, and exploration. The other world, Judaism, built from tradition, stories, the written word, community, and responsibility. Combined, these two worlds have shaped the principles that guide my design work.

I believe that understanding people's needs is the key to creating meaningful solutions that drive real impact. This has taken me from small startups to industry giants. I designed a communications platform that made it easier for people to stay connected and was later acquired. At Amazon Kindle, I helped create features like Page Flip and Mark as Read, which contributed to 5-star iOS App Store ratings. Now, in healthcare, I'm reimagining how people experience and manage their health, helping build a future where healthcare works for everyone. My work includes identity verification solutions that keep people's health information secure and private while saving millions in operational costs, and establishing Amazon Health Services' caregiving platform that lets people help family members or loved ones with their health while driving substantial market growth.

I approach complex challenges by bringing teams together around a shared understanding of what people really need. By diving deep into research and data, I influence product strategy and create opportunities that make a real difference for our customers. I navigate ambiguity with clarity and care, delivering high-quality work that balances attention to detail with efficiency. As a design leader and mentor, I believe that when we build with intention, we build for everyone.
